SIX STEPS
 

The user friendly menu of Engineer3D will guide you through six simple steps from 3D model to output data, ready for printing on every 3D metal printer available on the market.

Step 1
The automatic repair function serves to find and remove the most common problems found in 3D models.
Step 2
The edit mode enables precise operations on the selected details of the objects, even on single vertices, edges or faces of the mesh.
Step 3
The preparation tab contains features that help to find a preferred orientation of the objects and add identification plaques.
Step 4
The selected supporting structures can be generated with just one click. The tool also allows manual editing.
Step 5
Using the automatic packing option, the software places models on the tray according to a chosen strategy.
Step 6
A prepared tray can be exported as slices in available formats: CLI, SLC, SLI, REA, WZA, SVG or as three-dimensional objects in STL, OBJ, 3MF formats.

There is no need to read heavy tomes or multipage instructions. Our short instructional videos help you appreciate how Engineer3D saves you plenty of effort. Clear-cut tooltips are attached to all the buttons in the software as well.

 
ADDITIONAL MODULES
 

We created an additional tool – Boolean, which allows the user to easily carry out Boolean operations on 3D objects. You will be able to combine your object with an openwork structure in order to: reduce the object’s total mass, strengthen the object mechanically and reduce the amount of metal powder used.

APPLICATION OF SCAFFOLD STRUCTURES
You want to reduce the mass of the object? No problem! It is possible with the scaffold tool.
CREATING A HOLLOW SHELL OBJECT
You can print a 3D object as a hollow shell using the shellify function.
RECONSTRUCTION OF OBJECTS’ SURFACES
In the case of problem-ridden objects you can use the reconstruction tool in order to recreate the structure of the model.
TESSELLATION AND SIMPLIFICATION OF OBJECTS
With our tools you can increase or reduce the number of triangles in the 3D object. .
